- Select a Contest.
- In order to participate, select an available Contest from the list.

- Enter the Contest by clicking the “Enter Contest” button.
- If the Contest requires a Yomo Coin entry fee, the required number of Yomo Coins is deducted from your in-app coin balance at the time of entry.
- If you do not have a sufficient Yomo Coin balance, you cannot enter the Contest.
- Submit predictions.
- After entering, you will be prompted to answer a fixed set of prediction questions within the Contest (typically a minimum of five questions).
- All participants in the Contest answer the same questions.
- Questions are binary or multiple-choice and relate to real-world outcomes.
- You must submit your responses before the Contest and question close time, as indicated in the app.
- Yomo Coins
- Certain Contests are played with free virtual coin-based tokens referred to as “Yomo Coins.”
- Every user receives the same amount of Yomo Coins upon registration and the same amount of Yomo Coins once per day thereafter upon login. If a user does not return to the app to login to Yomo on a particular day, no Yomo Coins will be provided on that day.
- Yomo Coins are also awarded as prizes for winning certain Contests.
- Yomo Coins are always free and are not offered for purchase. No purchase or payment is ever required to participate in a Contest.
- Yomo Coins are non-redeemable, non-transferrable, and carry no real money value.
- Yomo Coins cannot under any circumstance be redeemed for prizes.
- Yomo Coins will automatically expire in the event an Account becomes Dormant. For the purpose of these Rules “Dormant” means there has been no game play activity utilizing Yomo Coins for a consecutive period of sixty (60) days.
- Question Timing and Response Submission Rules
- Each question in a Yomo Contest has a question open time, which is the earliest time a user may submit or edit a response for that question.
- Each question in a Yomo Contest has a question close time, after which responses to that question are locked and can no longer be submitted or edited.
- The overall Contest open time and Contest close time will be disclosed in the app.
- When set, the Contest close time overrides all individual question close times.
- Once the Contest close time occurs, all questions close simultaneously, regardless of their individual close times.
- Users may submit or edit responses only while a question is open.
- Any edit made to any question:
- Updates the user’s overall submission timestamp; and
- Replaces any prior submission time.
- The official submission timestamp used for tie-breaking purposes is the time of the user’s most recent edit, as recorded by platform server time.
- A question in a Contest may be voided if:
- It cannot be objectively resolved; or
- It was resolved incorrectly due to error.
- When a question in a Contest is voided:
- All users receive zero (0) points for that question; and
- The Contest continues with remaining questions.
- Yomo reserves the right to void any question at its discretion.
- How to Win
- All eligible participants who submit a valid entry to a Contest according to the Rules and Terms are eligible to win prizes.
- All prize amounts are fixed and do not change once published at the outset of the Contest period.
- Each Contest has one (1) winner, unless otherwise explicitly stated.
- Each prediction question resolves once its underlying real-world outcome is determined.
- After all questions in the contest have resolved, Yomo calculates a score for each participant based on the accuracy of their predictions, using a predefined scoring methodology.
- Participants are ranked on a leaderboard according to their final scores. The highest-scoring user places first and receives the Contest’s prize.
- Contests are winner-takes-all by default, meaning:
- Second and third place do not receive prizes.
- The highest-scoring eligible entrant per the scoring protocol below receives the prize for that Contest.
- If multiple users are tied with the highest eligible score, the winner is the user whose final submission timestamp occurred first, based on server time.
- Contests will be scored and finalized within seventy-two (72) hours of Contest closure.
- Each prediction question in a Contest includes:
- Defined resolution rules; and
- A resolution source used to objectively verify the outcome.
- Resolution rules and sources are established at the time of Contest creation.
- Outcomes are determined using the stated resolution source and criteria. However, Yomo reserves the right to use information from additional sources in order to resolve any uncertainty and ensure accuracy in determining the result of a prediction question. Yomo reserves the right to suspend resolution of any prediction question until any uncertainty can be resolved to Yomo’s reasonable satisfaction. If Yomo cannot resolve the uncertainty in resolution of the prediction question, Yomo may void the question and related Contest.
- Scoring
- Each question in a Yomo Contest is scored independently.
- Scoring rules:
- Correct answer: 10 points
- Incorrect answer: 0 points
- There is no partial credit.
- Any user who receives a total score of zero (0) is not eligible to be declared a winner.
- If all entrants receive a score of zero (0) , Contests are cancelled and conclude with no winner.
- Contests will be scored and finalized within seventy-two (72) hours of Contest closure.
- Prizes and Payouts
- Prizes may be awarded as:
- Yomo Coins; or
- Monetary prizes (e.g., cash or gift cards).
- Yomo Coin prizes are automatically credited to the winner’s in-app balance.
- If you win a monetary prize in a Contest, Yomo will send a notification to the email address associated with your account. The notification will ask you to choose how you would like to receive your prize (e.g., Venmo or Amazon gift card). In order to receive your prize, you must confirm acceptance in writing and select your desired prize type within fifteen (15) days of notification of your prize.
- During the prize redemption process, Yomo may also require additional information for prize redemption for purposes of tax verification, such as completion of IRS Form W-9 or other tax documents (when applicable). Where applicable, you must provide the requested information within fifteen (15) days of Yomo’s request.
- Yomo aims to process approved redemptions promptly. However, participants acknowledge that:
- Prize fulfillment may require up to sixty (60) days from the date Yomo receives all required documentation;
- High-value redemptions or cumulative winnings of $600 or more may require additional time for tax documentation processing; and
- Yomo may disburse certain large prizes in multiple installments if necessary for security, compliance, or operational reasons.
- Cancelled, Postponed and Rescheduled Contests and Real-World Events
- If a real-world event associated with a question in a Contest is cancelled, postponed indefinitely, or does not occur , the affected question may be voided.
- If the Contest is materially dependent upon a cancelled, indefinitely postponed or non-occurring event, the Contest may be cancelled.
- If an event associated with a question in a Contest is canceled while in progress, only those questions that correspond to completed events will be scored and remaining questions voided.
- If an event associated with a question in a Contest is rescheduled, Yomo will endeavor to conduct the Contest as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion.
- Yomo reserves the right to cancel a Contest at any time, including but not limited to the following reasons:
- Insufficient entries;
- Errors in Contest setup; or
- Technical issues.
- If a Contest is cancelled, no prizes are awarded.
- Failure to Accept Prize; Forfeiture
- A potential winner may forfeit his or her prize if:
- Yomo is unable to contact the user through the email address associated with the user’s account;
- The user does not provide information requested by Yomo within the timeframe specified;
- The user’s prize notification is returned as undeliverable;
- The user is determined to be ineligible under any part of Section 2 of these Rules or any other provision of the Rules or the Terms;
- The user is found to have violated these Rules, used prohibited automated methods, or engaged in fraud, abuse, or deceptive activity; or
- For other reasons in Yomo’s reasonable discretion.
- Forfeited prizes will not be reinstated and may, at Yomo’s sole discretion, be voided, rolled into future promotions, or reallocated to other participants consistent with applicable laws.
